Dress Code

We want all dancers to feel comfortable and confident in class but we ask that all students follow the dress code. You will also find the dance shoes required for each class below.

Dance Attire

  • All dancers must wear their hair pulled back and out of their face.

  • All dancers must wear the required shoes for each style of dance. *Please write the dancer’s name or initials on the inside of each pair of their shoes*​

All dancers must wear comfortable athletic clothing such as:

  • Leotard and tights

  • Dance skirts and tutus

  • Leggings

  • T-shirts 

  • Dance/athletic shorts

  • Tank tops

  • Leg warmers

  • Ballet sweaters

  • Athletic jackets

We do NOT allow the folling attire:

  • Denim clothing 

  • Flared leggings/yoga pants

  • Jeggings

  • Baggy sweatpants

  • Hooded sweatshirts (unless given permission)

  • Dangle and hoop earrings

  • Necklaces

Dance Shoes

All dancers are required to wear the correct dance shoes for each class and performance. Please select the shade of shoe that is closest to the student’s skin color, unless stated otherwise. We recommend writing the dancer’s name or initials on the inside of each shoe.
